We had a blast the other day at the pumpkin patch!! Dadelaide was walking very cautiously to keep from tripping over the pumpkin vines. When she would trip and fall, she would just sit there and kick her feet to try and untangle herself from the vines. Needless to say, this did not spoil her fun.
These pics are just a collage of SOME of the cute things she does every day…she’s always being so silly; we have a lot of fun together! So, from beginning to end, here is what she’s up to: she loves to dump her toy basket and sit in it, sometimes she likes to try and put her toys back in it while she is in it…doesn’t always work too well cause she gets frustrated when she can’t move around anymore, lol. She loves to help me unload the silverware from the dishwasher; and yes I take all the knives out before she can help! she pulls the silverware out and hands them to me one by one so I can put them away. When we’re done unloading she likes to load the dishwasher with her toys…sometimes she even tries to climb in herself, that’s always funny.
Sometimes when I’m busy in the kitchen she will wander off and get real quiet, then I’ll hear her talking to herself so I creep into the living room and she will be sitting in her bouncy seat reading a book; adorable! She likes to take her socks off, put them in her mouth, walk around a little bit and then spit them out…she’s so strange.
The toilet paper pictures…so one day I was on the phone in the kitchen and I see the munchkin walk from where the bathroom is into the living room with toilet paper in her hand…then I realize I left the bathroom door open and she had drug the TP from the bathroom around the corner and into the living room and then she started shredding it so she could eat it! Ya, she loves to eat toilet paper, it’s one of her favorite food groups. The cute one of her in her bathrobe was when she had another flu bug last week.
We had just given her a warm bath and daddy was checking her temperature (she loves to have her temp checked, we do that just for fun some days), she was finally starting to feel better when we took this picture. Poor baby. The last pic is her playing in the kitchen in her boots of course and putting on the oven mitts. She loves to put the oven mitts on (they go up to her shoulders) and run around the kitchen with them! Just a few of the cute things she does every day…enjoy!
Dadelaide has developed a major shoe fetish ever since she got lot’s of cute shoes for her 1st birthday. She is so crazy about shoes she has to wear them almost all day long while we’re in the house (which drives me up the wall cause I don’t like shoes on the carpet! oh well). I don’t know if this is a Dadelaide thing, or a 1 year old thing…time will tell. I have to put her shoes up on a high shelf so she doesn’t eat them and she constantly goes to the shelf and reaches up to them and starts “asking” me to put them on for her. She likes to wear several different styles throughout the day and even likes to put her shoes on and try and top the look off with a pair of mine or Rick’s shoes over hers…she is so silly. She does pretty well walking in my high heals now, I haven’t caught a picture of that yet, hopefully soon!

We can’t believe it’s been a year already! My how time flies when you’re having fun.
Dadelaide’s birthday was SO much fun for her and everyone involved. We were a little exhausted with all the preparation, but it was worth it! We had 20 people (family and friends) show up for the party, it was a house-full, but Dadelaide loved every minute. Dadelaide couldn’t get enough of all the gifts, she couldn’t decide what to play with. She wasn’t too sure about her cupcake, she took a few bites before eventually throwing it on the floor! We didn’t expect that! She’s not too fond of sweets though, so we should have had an idea.
Enjoy the pics!

Here we all are up at Provo Canyon having a late night campfire dinner with smore’s for dessert.
It was so much fun and the babies loved being outside looking at the campfire; they were both ready for bed but didn’t show it until we got in the car to go home! They were obviously enjoying themselves! Dadelaide loved looking at the stars, there were so many and they were so big and bright; she kept pointing to the sky, it was so cute.

We had lot’s of fun Grandma & Aunt Brandy! Dadelaide got lot’s of cool things for her birthday and we got to visit lot’s of places we’ve never been too since living here. We went to Garden Park Ward Building (a huge old house on beautiful landscape that was turned into a chapel) the rededication of this building was actually the last public appearance President Hinkley made before his passing. We also visited Memory Grove, Log Haven-a delicious restaurant in Mill Creek Canyon, and we rode the Gondola in Park City! Dadelaide had a blast! Here are just a few of fun pictures we took.

So Dadelaide and I decided to bake some yummy cookies for daddy returning home from his trip; we had so much fun! Dadelaide had her own spoon and bowl and even got to mix her own ingredients, she loves to stir like mommy. She even added her ingredients to mommy’s bowl! So cute. So we were being good and making whole wheat cookies…and as you can tell from the pics we had some…issues with the cookies! Not enough flour! We had to add lot’s more and bake 1 cookie at a time to make sure it was the right consistency; Dadelaide loved watching the cookies bake. We finally added enough flour and the cookies were SO delicious! Yum yum! Daddy was so surprised and so happy that his girls made his favorite cookies for him.

Her upper right front tooth finally poked through the gums yesterday. The other one looks like it will be coming through shortly! She’s growing up so fast…
She started walking while we were in Texas at 10 1/2 months. Her first steps were around 9 1/2 months and then at 10 months she was taking 4, 5 and 6 steps at a time. Once she recovered from her cold in Texas she was up practicing again and by the last week of July she was walking all the way across the room, turning around and going back! She loves to walk and doesn’t really crawl much anymore, she tries to keep up with her cousin Schme, but she’s still a little too slow for that! Here are some pics of her walking and a few other cute ones.
